Emergency Algorithms

We have developed 3 core emergency algorithms in the management of life support in patients with a left ventricular assist device (LVAD), Impella and extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) that are used in our local institution. The course will focus on the understanding and practice of using these algorithms to support patients in the first moments of severe deterioration and cardiac arrest.
