The MLS team won Quality Improvement Initiative of the Year & Patient Safety Education & Training Awards at the HSJ Patient Safety Awards 2023. The team were also finalists in the categories of Deteriorating Patients and Rapid Response Initiative of the Year and Urgent and Emergency Care Safety Initiative of the Year. The team had the highest number of awards and finalist entries of any single team at the HSJ Patient Safety Awards.
