Helen Maberley

I came to work at Harefield as a fairly newly qualified nurse in 1986 having trained at Hammersmith Hospital. I immediately loved this challenging work environment and in particular this unique group of patients. I have been privileged to witness first-hand the development of the transplant programme and now  the VAD programme.

I love teaching and helping new staff to feel confident and happy. My moto is always “there is no stupid question ---- only the one you don’t ask”
